VisionExtract Technologies LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MicroReceipt mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use MicroReceipt.

Information We Collect

MicroReceipt is designed to store your financial data on your device. We collect minimal data:

• Receipt data — vendor names, amounts, dates, and categories you scan or enter. Stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
• AI queries — when you use Receipt AI, your spending summary and question are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We do not store these queries.
• Crash reports — anonymous crash data is collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. This does not include your receipt data.
• Analytics — anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics (e.g., which features are used). No personal or financial data is included.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the MicroReceipt app
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• To understand feature usage patterns (anonymous)

Data Storage

All receipt data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your financial data. Receipt data may be backed up through your iCloud account subject to Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API — powers the AI assistant. Your spending summary is shared when you ask a question. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase (Google) — crash reporting and anonymous analytics. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or financial data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

MicroReceipt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. For questions about data collected via Firebase, contact us below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
